When should your child join?

Basic Skills 1-6, Pre-free, and Free Skate 1-6 classes are offered through the Elk River Arena

Basic Skills 4 - Freeskate 6 are offered through ERFSC.  Once your child is progressing in Basic Skills and is interested in private coaching (Basic 4 or later), they are ready to join the Club.

They must be a Club member to take official U.S. Figure Skating tests and/or compete in competitions beyond the Basic Skills level. They must also be a member to skate on the Club contract ice.

 

Interested in Becoming a Member?

There is no minimum skating level required to join the Club.

Joining the Elk River Figure Skating Club (ERFSC) entitles the skater to the following benefits:

Eligibility to skate on Club contract ice (Tue-Thurs & Sat-regular season)*

Opportunity to have private lessons with a coach*

Opportunity to participate in off-ice training*

Eligibility to participate in testing, competitions, and exhibitions*

Discounted test fees for ERFSC test sessions

Membership Application

Membership year runs July 1st – June 30th; however, you may become a member at any time during the year!

All memberships are renewed annually by June 30th.

All members are required to participate in fundraising each year, regardless of when they joined during the membership year.

ERFSC has 1-3 fundraiser's a year with a minimum amount to be raised by each skater

*you are responsible for payment of all fees (ice, coaching, testing, etc)

 

Documents

Membership year = Turn in the following: Membership App, Medical Release form, Parent Code of Conduct, Skater Code of Conduct, Picture/Photo Release form.  You will also be notified of Volunteering and Fundraising Obligations at our Annual Parent Meeting.
